Markus Leutwyler has just published his fifth and final part of Mobiletuts+ beginning tutorial series on writing apps for the webOS SDK. In today’s tutorial (Part 5), Markus ties up some loose ends from previous tuts, shows you how to adapt your display to the orientation of the device, and then wraps up by showing you how to submit your own applications to Palm’s App Catalog.

Introduction to webOS SDK Development

Over at Tuts+, Markus Leutwyler has created 2 tutorials for the basics in programming webOS. For all you beginners that want to learn webOS development, this is a great read and will put you in the right track. The steps are very easy to follow and can be completed in about 1-2 hours. Source files are also included to help you out throughout the tutorial.

Markus is planning on expanding this series to include more tutorials, so keep an eye out for parts 3 and 4.

This tutorial series will guide you through the process of getting started with webOS app development. In this tutorial, you will learn how to install the webOS development environment and create a simple application.
